Making the switch from an oil burning furnace to a cold weather heat pump to replace both our heating system and aging air conditioner was tough research to do on my own. Most all heating and oil companies around here did their best to spread old misconceptions about heat pumps only working well in the south where the winters are warmer, but there were so many articles improvements and technology That I decided to reach out to a company that specialized in heat pumps. David and his staff over at SumZero in Holliston were both excellent resources for information and professional in their quick estimates and work. It’s by no means a quick process from beginning to end with all the great incentive programs and related in work requirements, but again this is where David and his team made everything so clear and easy. Since the installation, their customer service has remained excellent to both answer one off questions I had about heat pumps which definitely work very differently from oil and gas furnaces to follow up appointments for quick inspections and a backup add-on installation. We are two winters and one summer into the installation and everything has worked out splendidly so far! Especially given oil and gas prices around here nowadays we are saving so much money having switched over!

Working with David on replacing my dead 20-yr-old gas furnace, and working but similarly-aged AC was productive. Took a bit of work agreeing to what exactly needed to be done but, eventually, the installation was smooth and nicely done. And fairly priced too. David and Ilija seem like a bunch of young and energetic owners, very capable of handling relatively straightforward jobs like full replacements. The entire job was completed in one day. Hopefully nothing else will break in my house but, if it does, SumZero will be the first company I'll reach out to.

Our experience working with SumZero was nothing short of amazing. Raphael, Jackson, and the SumZero team were incredibly responsive, prompt, and helpful with every aspect of our heat pump installation project. We live in a unit of condos and our HOA (which is terrible) had a problem with us installing a heat pump. Raphael and team met directly with our HOA to give them a presentation on the heat pump we sought to install and convinced them to allow us to move forward. They then created a unique design to place the heat pump in our attic, with the lines running up the wall in a fashion that hides them beautifully. When their crew came to work they were extremely kind and efficient. A hole had to be cut in the wall for the lines, and a carpenter on their team promptly filled it and made the wall look like new. I cannot recommend SumZero highly enough!!!
